INTRODUCE YOURSELF TO ANNA WINTOUR
I’m the kind of fashion blogger who would aim to work with you, not replace you. Innate sense of style, we might be born with, but the wisdom that comes from experience is priceless.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN BLOGGING?
Nearly six years.

HOW IMPORTANT IS IT TO ATTEND EVENTS?
It does not have any bearing on how good you are at what you do. I attend only the ones I am working or collaborating with or the ones I genuinely care about.

IS THERE A TOP BLOGGERS LIST?
There is a tier of top bloggers in every country and numbers might decide that for now. I have a staunch belief that eventually it will come back to quality.

FIVE PEOPLE TO FOLLOW ON INSTAGRAM

  1. Man Repeller: Funny, fashionable and caustic.
  2. Sonam Kapoor: Because ‘Keeping up with the Kapoors’.
  3. Anna Dello Russo: Legendary and still going strong.
  4. Chiara Ferragni: The business of fashion blogging.
  5. Shreya Kalra: Because shameless self promotion (and really
  6. great puns!).

DOES IT PAY TO BE ‘PRETTY’ IN BLOGGING?
Possibly. But looks alone will not get you far at the end of the day. Essentially, a fashion blogger’s job profile cannot overlap with that of a model. Sure, you could be both. But both are not always the same people.

THREE QUALITIES THAT MAKE FOR A GREAT BLOGGER
Consistency, unique content and a flair for style.

FRUSTRATING PART OF BLOGGING
The freelance nature of the work. Some months are absolutely packed with not a day to breathe but some weeks are dreadfully slow with no interesting commissioned work.

YOUR PROFESSION HAS TAUGHT YOU
Fake it till you make it is a real thing, apparently.

BIGGEST LIFE LESSON
Acquire the skill of being a good judge of character. Studying and understanding different kinds of people is so essential.

HOW MANY TIMES SHOULD ONE POST ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

FACEBOOK: Once a day.
INSTAGRAM: Once or twice a day.
WEBSITE:  Once a week.

ARE YOU WHO YOU WANTED TO BE AT 26?
If by that you mean a successful person who gets to sleep in late on weekdays at times, then yes.

..one thing that made us notice Johny other than his obvious confidence, supercharged energy and unhinged style was his story. To keep the intro short, let’s just say you will have to read the rest to know his story….
What we do want to tell you Johny is: we relate to you, we are sure most people will do too. We all come to the city to take what’s ours. They say you get what you take, we hope you take what’s yours and then some. And look good while at it….
