INTRODUCE YOURSELF IN THREE LINES
‘Three lines’ reminds me of the three minutes of my routine: 5:30a.m. wake up. You had exactly three minutes to stand up, clean your bed, wax your boots and stand in front of your bed. That was my life before I came to India! A soldier’s life.

AVERAGE MONTHLY INCOME OF A MODEL
Let’s say 1 lakh so that you have an answer.

WHY MODELLING
satisfaction. Waking up everyday not hating my job. I see some of my friends waking up hating their jobs, everyday. What a task!

CONS OF MODELLING
It is team work. One bad stylist, art director or photographer can ruin the whole thing, no matter how hard the rest may work.

BIGGER THREAT TO MODELS: CELEBRITIES OR BLOGGERS
Neither. With all due respect to them, I am indifferent to the blogging world.

MODELS ARE BORN OR MADE
Bit of both. You can build a great body but you cannot change your face. At least, not your natural body language.

BEST INDIAN MODEL
Manu Bora. A doctor and a super model. Inspiring!

YOUR PROFESSION HAS TAUGHT YOU
People have a ‘work face’ and a ‘fun face’. What they show you depends on how you make them feel.

WHAT MAKES FOR A SUCCESSFUL MODEL
Never say no to any kind of work, you will always learn something from every job.

WHAT IS YOUR STORY
Flash back to 2009, back in Iran. After completing my high school, I joined the military. It was a compulsion for every male citizen. My best friend and I.  Let’s say he was my brother from different mother. I spent each and every day of my life with him. We filled our forms and joined the army. Both of us were the naughty ones. On my persistence, we decided to apply for commando training, which is quite different from normal soldiering. It was very tough and that is when the game changed, suddenly. We had started an important and life-changing part of our lives together. It has been six years since our last time together. He could not make it. I have lived 23 long years but life feels like a short story with a close taste of death and of life. When time stops and I am not posing for the camera, nothing matters anymore. I only have memories. Everything is meaningless but those memories. I love my work and it is an escape from the other side of my life. sometimes we get so absorbed in making a living and competing that we forget to make memories. That experience has taught me to find a balance between wanting more and appreciating what I have.

WHAT DO YOU SPEND ALL YOUR MONEY ON?
Living is crazy expensive in India. It is an investment in itself!

..one thing that made us notice Johny other than his obvious confidence, supercharged energy and unhinged style was his story. To keep the intro short, let’s just say you will have to read the rest to know his story….
What we do want to tell you Johny is: we relate to you, we are sure most people will do too. We all come to the city to take what’s ours. They say you get what you take, we hope you take what’s yours and then some. And look good while at it….
