What influences your style
The essence of color/print, structuring/layering, and being able to wear a garment in many ways increasing its versatility. Local textiles/crafts/jewellery, and the idea of combining is always a key factor.

India’s best dressed city
Delhi, handsdown.

What are you looking forward to in 2017
I work in the corporate sector, although I am a designer. I do look forward to men becoming more adventurous with local styles and mixing wardrobes. The concept of color palettes, prints and cuts have moved ahead but there is still a larger sense of conservatism when people are at work. I feel they could experiment more. The use of drape, accessories, everyday wearable jewellery and colors are something that I still look for. People need not be ruled by what designers prescribe as a look, but combine elements that can be quirky and fun and make their own wardrobe. celebrating local textiles/weaves/ detailing and prints in contemporary ways will be an important part of this journey.

..one thing that made us notice Johny other than his obvious confidence, supercharged energy and unhinged style was his story. To keep the intro short, let’s just say you will have to read the rest to know his story….
What we do want to tell you Johny is: we relate to you, we are sure most people will do too. We all come to the city to take what’s ours. They say you get what you take, we hope you take what’s yours and then some. And look good while at it….

We spend the day with the 23 year old fitness and fashion enthusiast who defines her personal style as ‘chaotic with intention’. There’s a lot to like about our October muse, read on…
