Featuring Tanya in Indian designer Theorem's FW 2019 collection

Meet 18-year-old aspiring model and student Tanya as she talks to us about life in the big city, career, fashion and everything in between.

Tanya is wearing @theorem_official FW 2019 collection.

Q. How is life and career for an 18-year-old in the age of social media?

Tanya: It’s not easy to stand out. There is so much competition, for good or for bad. You can get lost in the crowd if you don’t stand out, be different or are popular. I am still trying to figure out what my voice is and who I want to be.

Q. A social media personality who inspires you?

Tanya: Winnie Harlow. Her life has taught many young girls to ‘love yourself’ irrespective of your color, shape, and size.

Q. When did you move to the city? How has the journey been?

Tanya: It’s been almost a year since I moved to the city ( Delhi). For the most part, it has been positive, competitive and a hustle. But that’s what everyone is here for. There are some negatives also but for that, you can turn the news on or log on to Facebook.

Q. What changes would you like to see in the city?

Tanya: Definitely more rules to calm the unnecessary chaos on the roads. Some more rules and strict action against those who disobey road rules and we can all move around with a cool head on our shoulders.

Q. Favourite apps?

Tanya: Instagram – help me see people’s life updates. InShorts – keeps me updated about what’s going in and around the country. Tinder – Good way to kill time and get to know people from a personal side in a big and busy city like Delhi.

Q. Where do you see yourself five years from now?

A jet setting air hostess and a model at the same time. What’s better than juggling your dream job and your passion together?

..one thing that made us notice Johny other than his obvious confidence, supercharged energy and unhinged style was his story. To keep the intro short, let’s just say you will have to read the rest to know his story….
What we do want to tell you Johny is: we relate to you, we are sure most people will do too. We all come to the city to take what’s ours. They say you get what you take, we hope you take what’s yours and then some. And look good while at it….
